The nails are popping up on my shingles on the roof, whats the best way to fix the problem.?

If your nails are popping up it means that your plywood is rotten or bad. A roofing nail will not pop out of good wood. I'm assuming that the roof was done with roofing nails. The nails are popping up on my shingles on the roof, whats the best way to fix the problem.?
replace the nails in different spots. The nails are popping up on my shingles on the roof, whats the best way to fix the problem.?
how long ago was the roof done?nails popping back up are usually due to the house settling and shifting and/or the plywood getting soft /rotted.you may need not only to replace the shingles, but replace the sheathing also.have a professional look at the problem.if just a few nails here and there.you may want to replace these nails with a longer roof nail yourself.if the roof was recently done it is possible that the contractor did not fully drive the nail.other factors may also be accountable.tempeture change adding to exspansion and contraction.how thick is the sheathing?how far apart are the rafters?i have seen nails back out of sheathing over time only because the sheathing was 3/16'; and the rafters were 2 ft. apart.good luck with your problem.hope it all works out.
Squeeze some adhesive on the shaft of the nail, and nail the loose ones back in.
Pound them back in. Sorry, but otherwise you will need new shingles.
Instead of pounding them back down, pull them and replace them with coated nails
hammer them back in
Call a roofer, or get up there and hammer them in.
